Buzz ABA was born from a place of deep personal experience. Our story began when our son was diagnosed with autism at the age of 8. With the diagnosis came a mixture of relief and fear; relief that we could put a definite diagnosis to behaviors we previously struggled to understand and fear that our son would struggle to succeed.
However, we were deeply lucky that our son’s pediatrician immediately referred him to ABA. Over the years our fears subsided as our son flourished at school, formed meaningful friendships, and gained the confidence to navigate the world around him.
Inspired by the profound impact ABA had on our family, we recognized a critical need in our community: a shortage of high quality and high integrity ABA providers. We understood that countless other families were yearning for the same life-changing support that our son received.
Driven by our love for our son and our unwavering belief in the potential of ABA, we created Buzz ABA. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to broaden access to high-quality

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), often simply referred to as autism, is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that affects a person's communication, behavior, and social interaction. It's called a "spectrum" disorder because its symptoms and severity vary widely among individuals.
Challenges With Social Communication:
This could manifest as difficulty understanding nonverbal cues, making eye contact, or engaging in back-and-forth conversations.
Repetitive Behaviors or Restricted Interests:
Individuals with autism may exhibit repetitive movements, have strong attachments to routines, or display intense interests in specific topics.
Sensory Sensitivities:
People with autism may experience heightened or diminished sensitivity to sounds, lights, textures, tastes, or smells.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a widely recognized and scientifically validated therapy for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). At its core, ABA focuses on understanding the relationship between behavior and the environment, and then using that understanding to bring about positive changes in behavior.

Assessment:
We begin by carefully observing and assessing an individual's behavior to identify areas where they may need support or want to make changes.
Individualized Plan:
Based on the assessment, we develop a personalized plan that outlines specific goals and the strategies we'll use to achieve them.
Skill Building:
We use positive reinforcement and other evidence-based techniques to teach new skills and replace challenging behaviors with more appropriate ones.
Ongoing Monitoring:
We continuously track progress and adjust the plan as needed to ensure the individual is making meaningful strides.
ABA therapy can address a wide range of areas, including communication, social skills, self-care, and academic abilities. It's important to emphasize that ABA is not a one-size-fits-all approach. At Buzz ABA, we tailor our interventions to each individual's unique needs and preferences, ensuring they receive the most effective and compassionate care possible.
